# Checkspot, an audit delivery portal

Checkspot is a secure web portal where a client reviews a HubSpot audit. Instead of a PDF that is read once, the client finds each finding by category, records decisions, follows the action plan and opens step-by-step guides, with access set by role.

## The problem

A HubSpot audit usually ends as a long document. The client reads it once, a few recommendations get done, and nobody tracks the rest. The audit firm has no view of what was decided or blocked.

## What we built

* **Findings by category** with a status for each one.
* **Decisions** the client records against each finding.
* **An action plan** that follows the decisions.
* **Step-by-step guides** for the fixes the client's team carries out.
* **Help requests and history**, so every exchange stays attached to its finding.
* **Roles:** audit firm admin, consultant, client admin, member and read-only.

## Architecture

The portal runs on Cloudflare Workers. A core database holds accounts, roles and clients; each client gets its own database, and documents are kept in object storage, all located in the European Union.
